These are heavy enough that they won't blow away in the wind. That's what we needed. They are sturdy and have a quality appearance. They're still portable, but you aren't going to want to carry them far on a beach.I bought 4 of these to add to my deck seating/sun bathing area. They are beautiful, dry quick, but the one downside to them is when you sit on the seat of it, you must sit way to the back or it will collapse in the middle. It does not have a support bar and probably should.The chairs look well made but they are light in weight so when I went to sit on it it fell forward! I thought it was my chunky butt but my daughter went to sit on hers and she also fell forward! You can not sit on the leg/foot part.We like the feel of the fabric. If you intend to leave the chair outside, it's perfect. If you want to take it inside every day for me (elderly woman) it would be a bit heavy. I am glad it is sturdy and leave it on our deck.These chair are perfect size, and quality.I highly recommended it!Very easy to use and everyone will like it ?Sturdy and very comfortable
