This cap is thicker and better than the one that the chair came with. Great quality. It initially seemed to be a little smaller than the chair leg, but I did what other reviewers mentioned, which was to heat it in the microwave for 30 second intervals. After several heatings, it became more pliable and I was able to get it onto the chair leg.Update: I purchased some more of these for another couple of chairs. This time I dropped them in a pint of very hot water for a while to soften them up. This method seemed to work better over the microwave heating approach.
